Put your engineering and programming skills to the test! In this advanced robotics challenge, students will work in teams of four to design, build, and program a LEGO SPIKE robot capable of completing a “Clear the Field” mission. The goal: use sensors, motors, and logic-based code to push, lift, or drag objects off a marked playing field.
This box is perfect for students with some prior robotics experience who are ready for collaboration, problem-solving, and iteration. Includes everything needed for up to 24 students (6 teams) to complete the challenge, including LEGO SPIKE kits, a printed arena mat, optional challenge cards, and video tutorials with both beginner and extension options.
Time Commitment:
Two 45-minute class periods or one 1.5-hour session
