Magnets & Magnetism

Explore invisible forces in action! This magnetic kit lets students experiment with magnets, magnetic fields, and magnetic materials. Through a variety of playful and investigative activities, kids will use iron filings, compasses, and bar magnets to visualize fields, test materials, and explore how magnetism works through space and across barriers.

This set includes all necessary materials for 24 students working in pairs, with printed guides and video instructions to walk through each activity.

Time Commitment:
Two 45-minute class periods or one 1.5-hour session
