Experience physics in motion! Students will design and build a foam rollercoaster to explore Newton’s laws of motion firsthand. Through trial, error, and redesign, they’ll see how forces affect acceleration, momentum, and inertia as they send foam cars racing through loops, drops, and turns.
Includes foam track pieces, foam cars, timers, and challenge cards for multiple levels of play. The kit supplies materials for 24 students working in pairs, with printed instructions and video guides to facilitate the learning experience.
Time Commitment:
Two 45-minute class periods or one 1.5-hour session
